eavesdropping for the technologically savvy

On the back of a black van, driving down the freeway last night:

"NINJAS FOR HIRE!
CALL 1-800-HIE-YA!!!!!"

I really want to hire some ninjas but I can't find the [!] button on my phone!

Woman, to collection agent:
"I gave my bills to Jesus!"

Aw man, you serious about the ninjas for hire? I totally want one! Do you think they can do my laundry for me?

Sorry, Zandperl. After reading the above link, I don't think ninjas will do your laundry for you. It sounds like they might require an awful lot of laundry service, what with all the head-cutting-off they do.

Can't find '!' on your phone? Well, that's easy. It's just [shift]-1. If your phone doesn't have a shift key, then I'm afraid you need a new phone.

Man, my shift key fell off my phone's keyboard when I was trying to get the bird seeds out from under the space bar. Think Apple Care'll send me another?

If you haven't noticed, there's a spam comment in this comment thread too. Good idea to delete them - besides them being annoying, the additional links to their page scattered across the intarweb drives up their Google rank.

Meh. The problem with typing in "words" like vrglb is that sometimes it takes me three tries to type one correctly, especially when they're up to 10 digits long...
