The future Mr. J and I met Buzz Aldrin today! He went to the freakin' MOON, man!! He wrote a children's book and did a book signing at a local mall. It was really, REALLY awesome.

We have photographic proof (unless that was a very good Buzz Aldrin impersonator that I shook hands with). I asked him what the best part was, and he said "coming home!". I'm still starstruck (no pun intended).

He was very nice. It was so neat... we met him briefly in the book signing, then went outside, and hanging over the building in the late afternoon sky was the moon, and I thought "We just shook the hands of a man who went THERE!"
